More About This Recipe
- One of the first things to go out the window when we’re trying to budget is having friends over for dinner. Let’s face it, every time I entertain, I end up blowing a chunk of money on groceries and can’t help but think of all of the other things I could have spent that money on. But can you really put a price on good food and good friends?
Since I don’t plan on giving up any of my friendships anytime soon, I found a way to keep my resolutions and the relationships with my friends at the same time. I’m always looking for easy and inexpensive dinners to entertain my friends, and I found a keeper in this Chicken a la King recipe!
It’s a meal that’s wallet friendly but impressive at the same time. This dish has diced chicken in a cream sauce with mushrooms, onions, and peppers. It can be served over rice, egg noodles, toast or in this case, a big fat biscuit.
